Jae Hill
Founder & CEO
Jae Hill founded Evermost to connect environmental remediation, critical minerals recovery, and practical public-sector delivery. His background spans more than twenty years of land-use planning, mining, wastewater infrastructure, climate resilience, and economic development across the Western United States.
Jae is currently undertaking a PhD at University College London’s top-ranked Bartlett Institute for Sustainable Resources with an expected completion date in 2030. His research explores extracting critical and strategic minerals from mine wastes. His other credentials include:

He’s also served in a number of board roles including: the Region V Commissioner for the American Planning Association’s AICP Commission, APA’s Idaho and Alaska state chapter board roles, Sun Valley Institute’s Advisory Board, Chair of the University of Washington’s Professionals Council, as well as the Chair of the Mason County Economic Development Council.
Jae is a member at Chatham House and the Royal Over-Seas League in London, and is also the Lord of Blackham Manor, in East Sussex, United Kingdom.
Jae has presented at conferences ranging from CalGIS 2006 to the 2016 Sun Valley Forum to countless appearances at various American Planning Association state and national events.
His environmental planning master’s degree thesis explored the climate change and affordable housing pressures facing mountain resort communities, which was later the subject of his 2016 TEDxSunValley talk.
